Synopsis
Murder wasn't the only crime this town would never forget. Hidden beneath its rustic charm, Kingdom County was a lawless frontier. Inspired by true events, A Stranger in the Kingdom tells the story of a small Vermont town where powerful conflicts arise when a black former Army chaplain arrives as the towns new pastor and, before long, finds himself charged with adultery and murder. A potent and unforgettable mystery with off-beat characters, vivid action, stunning photography, and double-edged wit.
